When I first entered the room, it seemed a little musty, but a bit of fresh air from the balcony fixed that, which was a lovely surprise. However, there was a glimpse of mold due to excessive rain, not ideal for someone with respiratory problems. The balcony, although small and untidy with shabby furniture, offered a view of the somewhat unattended garden and the pool through the palms.
The hotel was comfortable enough and very clean, which was all we needed to be able to holiday with family. However, the rooms need regular airing out as there is a terrible stale smell that hits your senses when you open the door. The room was spacious and comfortable with separate bathroom/toilet facilities, but it was very shabby.
I absolutely loved my stay at this hotel! It's tucked away on the ground floor at the end of the building, making it nice and quiet, away from the main road traffic. The rooms were fantastic with comfortable chairs, a table, and a couch, creating a cozy space to relax. Although our room was poolside, we couldn't see the pool from there, and the balcony space was taken up mostly by the poolside setup.
The hotel offers spacious rooms with plenty of room for families. Although some upgrades are needed, like new furniture and appliances, the layout with separate bedrooms and bathrooms is convenient. The service is welcoming, especially with the new management, and the location is excellent for both the town and the beach. Dining is satisfactory, and the pool area is decent. The overall value for the facilities is good.
The hotel had a nice, quiet ground floor room that was clean, comfortable, and spacious, although it needed regular airing out to avoid a stale smell. The service was friendly and accommodating, but there were challenges with visibility of room numbers. The location was beautiful, close to the beach and a short walk from the center of Terrigal. The dining experience was lovely with fresh coffee offered despite a broken machine. The facilities were adequate, with room for improvement.
